Minor Update: New Content

I've been logging in more frequently, but not contributing. I've had a bit of a slump in both writing and photography submissions. However, I've found some new inspiration and will start to post more often. I'll start with once a week and then move to more often as I start to accumulate more deviations. 

Please be patient with me as I work on both creating, and submitting my work.

DA Activity

So since around the beginning of August I've basically dropped off the DA end of the Earth and have been living under a rock. Some of it was due to my own issues like not beening good with organizing my time appropriately. The rest of it was due to my job change in my school district (I'm a teacher). I have good news though. I will be leaving my current job to move closer to family and hopefully leave the issues with my current job behind.


Career Issues

So I'm leaving my job as a teacher in New Mexico because of the insane work conditions.


First off, teaching any subject is hard and yes I do love teaching more than anything in the world. However, I'm not okay with a workload so bad I was working from home every afternoon from 4 pm to 8 pm and Saturdays 8 am to 4 pm to keep my head above water (not caught up). My current job is literally making me sick from overwork.


Second, no matter how much assistance I asked for or how much I got behind on work/overwhelmed I was met with an "I'm sorry we can't do anything" attitude from the school district (who basically begged me not to leave when I put in my resignation). 


So, Dec 19th will be my last day at my current Job. I'm so excited to be moving back closer to family.

June 2018 Update

Life: So far life has been great since school ended for the summer. I am already looking forward to teaching another year. I do have an interview with one of my school districts middle schools in hopes of moving up to the higher grade levels. Also, I am moving from a 2 bedroom apartment to a 1 bedroom apartment in my complex at the end of the month. This will help me save up more money for a house. BTW, I am looking for houses for where I currently live. It is taking longer than I expected to find a house that I like, but I am in this house search for the long haul.

Deviations: So I have been doing a lot more writing lately and have had more inspiration, so look forward to seeing more deviations from me. Currently I have things scheduled submission every Tuesday through August 14th. I only have a couple more weeks of filling up scheduled submissions before I will start submitting them as I make them. Here are the deviations I've submitted since the last update.
